Ali Martin Carrillo Filsoof is an art director for vitro, an internationally recognized advertising agency. Ali is responsible for developing integrated design and advertising campaigns for various global clients.
Throughout his 10 year career he has developed a simple and clean design aesthetic. Ali has the ability to make the most complex design problems very clear and pure. He is able to strip away the things that are unnecessary so that the real brand truth can be showcased. This distinct style has become his trademark.
Prior to joining vitro in 2008, Ali was an Art Director at DraftFCB and Warnaco where he lead the development and implementation of major design and advertising initiatives. Ali has worked with a wide variety of iconic brands including Michael Kors, Speedo, ASICS, Aldo Shoes, Levi Strauss, Serengeti, Anne Cole, George, Von Dutch, Microsoft, Hilton Hotels, Taylor Guitars, Kyocera and Newcastle Brown Ale.
In the community Filsoof serves as an active member of the AIGA, the Professional Association for Design and Icograda, International Council of Graphic Design Associations. He also has taught design at The Art Institute of California – Los Angeles. Serving on these organizations gives him a way to give back to a community that has given him so much.
Ali’s work has been published nationally and internationally in GRAPHIS, AIGA, Novum, Global Corporate Identity, LogoLounge, Best of Business Card Design, Lebook.com and the American Design Awards. His work was also exhibited internationally in Sao Paulo, Brasil at the Friends of Icograda Exhibit.
